Project Overview
Kafel Platform is a full-featured orphan care and sponsorship management system designed for organizations managing orphan sponsorship programs. The platform combines a Laravel 10 REST API backend with multiple Vue.js 3 single-page applications: an admin panel for content management, an internal portal for staff operations, a sponsor portal for kafels (sponsors) to manage their sponsored children, and a family portal for mothers/widows to access their information and services. The system manages comprehensive family records with detailed information about mothers, orphans, and family circumstances. It includes sophisticated payment processing with multi-step workflows, payment issuance, batch archiving, and comprehensive financial reporting. The platform tracks family needs, income sources, field visits, and provides recheck processes for data verification. Sponsor management includes assignment of sponsored children, payment tracking, contribution management, and relationship management. The family portal enables mothers to view sponsored children, track financial information, submit needs requests, access consultancies, view coupons, membership cards, and volunteer opportunities. The public-facing website provides news, media galleries, contact forms, registration forms, and custom pages.
